On April 30, the Phase II expansion project of the Zhuhai LNG project in Guangdong Province received formal approval from the Guangdong Provincial Development and Reform Commission, marking a significant step towards the construction of the Zhuhai LNG Phase II project. The Guangdong Zhuhai LNG project is divided into two phases. Phase I was completed and put into operation in 2013 with a receiving capacity of 3.5 million tons/year. According to relevant staff, after the completion of Phase II, the annual receiving capacity is expected to reach 7 million tons/year. At the same time, Phase II will also construct five 270,000 cubic meter full-capacity concrete storage tanks, three gasification and export pipelines, and two BOG compressors. The project investment is approximately 1 billion yuan. In terms of the wharf, it will share a wharf with Phase I, with a handling capacity of 80,000 to 270,000 cubic meter transport ships. According to project staff, after the completion and commissioning of Phase II, the gasification and export capacity of Zhuhai LNG will be improved. At that time, the length of its intercity pipeline will reach nearly 300 kilometers, and its LNG and pipeline supply capacity will increase from 5.2 billion cubic meters/year to 10.2 billion cubic meters/year. On May 7, our company received a notice from Zhuhai Hongda Electric Power Installation Engineering Company regarding the bidding for 12 engineering construction substations for the Zhuhai LNG Phase II project. We immediately started production. In order to complete the production task on time, with quality, and in quantity, our company has made every effort to organize manpower and material resources for the production task. After working hard for 10 days, the first batch of substations were successfully delivered on May 17.
